Should you be a missionary if your wife isn't saved?

 No.

I think that every couple has to see their family as a ministry in itself and it sends the wrong message to unbelievers when a missionary serves with an unbelieving wife. (BTW this is assuming they were married before he was saved, I don't think missionaries should marry unbelievers either). The ministry is also a huge burden on the family and its unwise to put that stress on a woman who doesn't see it for the glory of Christ.

You can listen to Pastor John Piper talk about it also at:

Do you love your church?

Do you believe in the church? Can you lead people to Christ and not plug them into the church?

Evangelists have to believe in the Church because the community of believers is what God uses to grow people. Take time this week to really sit and thank God for the church your part of. Maybe even take time to thank the leaders. Evangelism can't exist without the church.

8And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Matt. 16
